Front Exterior
This is the most important shot of all! Home buyers will make a decision to look at more photos of your house if they like what they see.
Make sure that there are no vehicles on the driveway or in front of the house
Put away garbage cans, hoses, lawn equipment
Turn on front porch lights
Power wash driveway, walkway, mailbox
Clean and wash windows
Open all front window blinds and curtains and make sure they look uniform
Cut grass & prune trees and shrubs
Apply fresh mulch or pine straw
Plant blooming flowers
Remove dead plants or flowers
Remove any empty plant containers
Interior
Open window blinds and curtains to let in more light
Turn ON all lights
Turn OFF all ceiling fans
Declutter - pack away personal photos and collectables but try to strike a balance between decluttered and empty. Leave out elements that will make your home appealing
Check ALL light bulbs and replace any non-working ones
Make sure that chandeliers, ceiling fans, and mirrors and glass doors are clean
Put away toys
Kitchen
Clear counters but leave a few appliances (no more than three)
Clear the refrigerator of magnets, photos, schedules, menus, etc.
Clean and polish all appliances
There should be no dirty dishes in the sink
Bedrooms
Put fresh linens on the bed and have it neatly made
Declutter nightstands
There should be no visible objects under the bed
Bathrooms
Clear bathroom counters and hide away toiletries
Tuck away shower and bath items
Place fresh towels in the bathroom for a soothing spa look
Rear Exterior
Power wash deck
Set up patio furniture and open patio umbrella
Uncover the grill
Use container plants to add color and style
